Scientists and University students are welcome to use our facility at cost, as we have hosted many family reunions of 20-30 people in 3 beautifully sculpted rental homes in rainforest of The Osa Peninsula. Our Lapas Home rentals are close to Corcovado National Park and is similar to resort and hotel style accommodations. Private chef Elegance you would expect to find at Disney Vacations or Treehouse Villas. The entire corridor of rainforest is protected and is only 1 km. away from Corcovado National Park. Bordering the reserve is the Rio Agujas and walking towards the park and you’ll find great swimming holes, and spectacular waterfalls to hike to and great hiking near Corcocovado National Park. Lapas Rainforest Reserve is a unique adventure family vacation experience deep in Southern Costa Rica.
Take a day and go inshore fishing or take surfing lessons out at Matapalo point or Backwash Bay surf. Allow yourself an extra 3-5 days if you plan on Hiking through Corcovado National Park, make sure you check reservations, and don’t be disappointed if they are full. Don’t worry, there are lots of great rainforest hikes in rainforest reserves adjacent to Corcovado National Park.
