Seascapes, landscapes, art retreats, workshops and art studio rentals in Costa Rica.Living in Costa Rica in the summer and painting in Cape Cod, Mass, I spend my winters painting boats and seascapes in New England, Cape Code and Provincetown, Massachusetts. My work has been seen at Addison Arts / Art Galleries in Orleans, Mass. Also at Kennedy Studios in Provincetown, Massachusetts. My paintings are well represented at Cape Light Gallery in Provincetown. I generally work in oils when painting New England scenes and landscapes. Many of my older oil paintings are auctioned off for conservation concerns in Costa Rica. I host many environmental art shows and gallery openings in Arizona, Costa Rica and Cape Cod.. I've spent a great deal of time studying water and movement. Many of my Cape Cod Original Paintings include water and sky studies and I'm always trying to capture the magical cape light in my new work. Hope to see you in New England next year.

I prefer early morning light as the tone and temperature of my oil and acrylic paintings changes from season to season. My New England Paintings find reflections in the water equally as interesting as the subject above. I enjoy early morning sunrises with my camera and walking my 2 dogs. I find the morning light more interesting and longer lasting than afternoon light, which is generally quicker to fade. I love tracing through Black Fish Creek, and bird watching in the cedar groves and cliffs of Wellfleet and Truro, near Orleans Art Galleries.
